This application has minimal registration required, students do not need to provide an e-mail address to register. Users can post anonymously, something you should discourage from your students. Teachers can create different boards for different groups, just give them the URL and they can post without having to register. Boards can be embedded into your wiki or website.

Users must register to post but e-mail is not required. Teachers can create groups and assign passwords to boards so students can be restricted to specific boards. You can set an expiration date for posts, ranging from one day, week, month, year, to never. You can select profanity filtering and block anonymous posts.
On a free account you can have a maximum of 24 boards with up to 12 categories and 10 feeds. You can have up to 24 polls and 12 groups. Note: This bulletin board is a widget, it can be embedded-fully functional - into your website or wiki. You actually have a choice of how it is embedded, full size, mini, or monitor.
